Disturbia

Rating:★★★★★
Category:Movies
Genre: Mystery & Suspense
I saw this movie last Wednesday. Angel and I watched it together. Unfortunately this is the only time that I have to write a review about it.

The Movie genereally is very good. It's whole sequence can be described as 'Alarmingly Great'! It has transitions of Mystery to Romance to Slight Drama and back to Mystery again.

So the story starts in a normal day in Kale's(Shia LeBeouf) life, when he goes fishing with his dad. On their way home they got into a car accident where his dad dies. After a year, he is in his Spanish Class and his Spanish teacher catches him sleeping in class and got angry... tells him a lot of things and goes below the belt by opening the topic of his father's death and offends poor Kale. So he punches him. Getting him into court.. Being a minor, he was put into house arrest. Plus every form of entertainment he has in his house was all cut by his super stern mom (Carrie-Ann Moss.. not so Matrix-y now.. Bye trinity persona.) With no phone/TV/video games/music updates/internet and of course he can't get out.., this punishment gets him to be a house bum and he starts taking notice on the neighborhood and its residents. Even spying on the newly moved girl nextdoor Ashley (Sarah Roemer). They Eventually become friends and together with Ronnie(Aaron Yoo) they accompany Kale in his nosy habits of looking at his neighbors everyday routine and behaviors. One in Particular, Mr. Turner (David Morse.. creepy, by the way, not his usual roles..)turns out to be more suspiciously unusual than the others so they pry into his own privacy and snoop around for some clues.. They all found out more than what they're looking for. Wanna know how it ends? Just watch it. It's not disappointing. Bravo to the director D.J. Caruso. Kudos.

Loved the soundtrack and Ronnie's Ringtone. haha.
