and then I watched it again this Wednesday with Faye and Jay at Rockwell. They're my offical Movie Buddies and Wednesday is our Movie Day this term.
The Movie is an artwork. It's so poetic in it's script. Will Smith was perfect for the role. 'Coz the Character was living alone for almost three years and He still has the humor in him and he's still physically and mentally strong. So we wouldn't want a very serious looking actor now, do we?
Dr. Robert Neville is a virologist and he's now the last person living in New York. probably the last one on earth, but this never stopped him from living. Somehow immune to the man-made virus, He lives with his dog, a German Sheperd named Sam, who is also immune but only to the airbourne virus spread. They both stuggle to survive and look for any left survivors. Neville still looks for the cure against the infected creatures that only live by night, In order to restore life to the earth.
A scene made me cry. It's such a disturbing movie. It's a great movie but the more you watch it the more you'll feel ----blah--- about the ending.
Just always pay attention when you watch it. There are some props that are important to the story. It gives info. 'coz if not you won't get some parts.
It's a story that gives hope. There's a lesson in the end.
Remember the line "Look, Daddy, a butterfly". : )
